milestone

Yesterday, Alex turned 18 months old and Evan 40 months (or, as we joke with him, "three and a third"). It is unbelievable how quickly the last four years have passed. At the same time, Will and I can't remember our lives without these little nuts. They bring us such joy.

Unfortunately for Alex, he celebrated his 18-month-a-versary at the doctor's office. Diagnosis: pink eye in both eyes and an ear infection. He is on two meds now and we hope everything will clear up before our departure for Maui. Our follow-up is on the 28th. If the ear infection isn't gone, there is a chance his ear drum would rupture on the plane. We hold our collective breath....
