I tried to make something different for dinner tonight. It was a disaster. Thank you, Will, for eating it and even pretending you liked it. I love you!
Now -- what to do about the greasy deep-fried smell all over the house.... and the lingering smoke.

Did we tell you that I melted the plastic lid of my tea kettle by leaving the burner on during our drive Sunday? Talk about stink!! We left windows open, but couldn't get rid of the smell. So we covered it up by burning an incense stick and then simmering cinnamon sticks in water on the stove. That helped! Good luck.
