Evan's class party was a great success. It took hours -- and I mean HOURS of planning (room mom me). It turns out that it might take more time to coordinate a party when you have too much food! I realize this is a wonderful problem to have: too many families want to bring food to a party. However, the kids can only eat so much. Thankfully, I moved half the family volunteers to the winter party, so that will be a breeze to plan, right?
The kids had a ball, as did the 15-or-so parents present. Alex loved being a part of it, too. He can't wait to go to Springdale, he told us afterward.
