It was COLD this morning for the homecoming 5K and pancake breakfast. The car thermometer read 24 when we left the house at 7:10 a.m.! Will ran the whole 5K, finishing in 30 minutes. I was doing a great job walking quickly (with the stroller -- on pace to be 15 minutes faster than during the Race for the Cure), but the boys were so cold, they cried and whined the whole time. I dropped out after the first lap, thereby only completing a 2.5K. Bummer. More pics here.
We returned to campus for the Mercer-GA Tech basketball game, which was a real nail-biter. Mercer led by 1 point at half-time, then lost in overtime! These pictures and the video should give you an idea of how much fun we were having!
