Evan has been limping for two days. At preschool today, Evan's classroom teacher and his PE teacher noticed that he was not his usual running-jumping-self. I suspect that he pulled a muscle jumping in the leaves, but we will keep an eye on it.
When I ask him what happened, he has a different reply each time. My two favorites: 1) I am transforming; 2) Alex zapped me.
Here is our conversation in the car earlier today:
A: Evan, do you think you might have pulled a muscle in your leg?
E: (laughter erupts) MOMMY! How do you pull a muscle when you have SKIN?
