30 Hours

Mom & Dad jumped in a car on Friday afternoon and drove down from Chicago for a quick, spur-of-the-moment visit. They arrived in Macon around 1:00 on Saturday and left at 7:00 pm tonight -- yes. 30 hours, each of them wonderful. (That is only 2 hours more than they will spend in the car driving to and from Macon!) Someday, I hope they will retire, or semi-retire, or part-time live, or whatever, down here. In anticipation of that, there were a few houses for them to see this weekend. We spent time yesterday afternoon with a real estate agent. No purchases were made, but I think they were interested in what is available. Who knows what the future may hold?

Mom & Dad are not even through Atlanta as I type this, and I miss them already.
