Triumphs and Travails Conference OR (alt title): Bragging On My Husband

As many of you know, Will is the Co-Director & Co-Founder of Mercer's Center for the Teaching of America's Western Foundations, a Center started less than a year ago with grant money from Mercer University. This week, the Center hosted a hugely successful two-day conference entitled "The Triumphs and Travails of the Natural Rights Republic," described in this press release. The Center flew in scholars from around the country to speak on America's founding. There were four major events (listed on the flier above) and each brought in between 100-150 people, including the student panel!

Will deserves a public "great job!" message. I can't secure a plane with a banner, so this blog posting will have to do. :) He is working tirelessly to bring speakers, prestige, and MONEY to his Center and to the University. This culminating event was the perfect way to cap off an already successful year. Congrats, honey! Here's to securing more funding for years to come!
