In class yesterday, Alex volunteered to sing his version of the Davy Crockett song (see below). The teachers liked it so well they took him next door to another 3K class to sing it again. Today all three 3K classes were in the gym together and he performed for everyone! What a ham. No stage fright in this family!
At school pick-up today, he was at it again. This time, he was singing to a small group of friends while standing next to a new classroom tee pee. When he got to the "Davy Crockett" part, all the kids joined in. It was hilarious. His teacher told me that when all else fails, Alex is always ready with a song. (Of course, the movies are less than PC, but for now, the song is cute.)

OK -- I just bought the Davy Fwockett song on iTunes. I'd forgotten just HOW politically incorrect it is! But it's still a great song with many memories. Now there are some great new ones!
