"Homework"

After school, Evan tells us about the note or picture he drew that day for a girl in his class (each day, a new girl). He likes to slip a note into the lucky girl's backpack after "work" time. That's my Romeo! One of his little friends made a picture for him today and I gather that Evan was less than appreciative. We had a long talk about appreciating all gifts. For his "homework," Evan wanted to write a note to his classmate. Here it is -- perhaps the longest note he has written:

He also wanted to make a project "for the class," so this is what we wrote.:

And for the little girl who sits next to him at his table, a portrait of her and a balloon:

Last but not least, Thanksgiving Cards for his teachers.

Art and writing have never been of interest to Evan, so I'm glad to see that he is coming around.... better late than never!

Great pictures! We surely have a budding artist here.
