I haven't posted anything to the family blog in a week due to preparing for & working the MOPS Consignment Sale. Our group, Mothers of Preschoolers, puts on two major consignment sales per year. This fall, I joined the committee to run set-up and logistics.
The sale was a huge success. I'd like to think that my new floor-plan had something to do with the $14,000 in sales over spring's record dollars! It was a busy week. I haven't worked 14 hours days since my time at McMaster-Carr! (Okay - I work 24 hour days now -- I mean 14 hours out of the house and without kids!). This is not all profit; consignors get 70% of the sale, MOPS covers our expenses, and the rest goes to charities in Macon and Middle Georgia.I'm really pleased. The whole committee did a great job. I can't wait for the next sale in March!
