Yesterday was a full day, complete with a soccer game in the morning, Connor's birthday party in the afternoon, and a babysitter in the evening. (Ani and Will actually sprung for a sitter to attend a surprise 40Th birthday party for a friend.)
Unfortunately, we don't have any pictures from the surprise party, but it was really fun. Jeff (the birthday girl's husband) hired a company from Atlanta to run a Vegas-Style funny-money evening of gambling at the Tic-Toc room, a restaurant in town. The company, food, drinks, and entertainment were all fantastic. It was such a treat to go out. We need to do it more often!
(The boys loved their babysitter, too. This morning, Evan crept into our room and in a surprised voice said, "MOMMY! What are you doing here? Where is Emma?")
