It is difficult to believe that Alex is 1 year old already. We are reminded yet again how fortunate we are to have happy, healthy and fun-loving kids.
We started our day by checking the Macon Telegraph. Alex made the cut! His 1st birthday picture was in the Life & Style section, right next to the TV guide (prime real estate, we are sure!). Then, we enjoyed breakfast at Chick-fil-a, where Alex ate his favorite greasy treat: chicken minis. Later in the afternoon, Alex enjoyed two strawberry birthday cupcakes before opening his presents and cards. Evan also enjoyed "helping" with Alex's presents.
It was a low-keyed, wonderful, family-filled day. Will starts school tomorrow, so it was a great way to end summer break, too.
