We had a great visit with Nana & Gramps this weekend. In addition to celebrating Alex's 1st birthday again, we also shopped for playground equipment. The new set will be installed on Wednesday! Evan and Alex are very excited about their birthday gift from Nana and Gramps. Will and I are excited about getting the kids out of the house! Now, if only the hot weather would cease....
Other highlights of the weekend included playing cowboys and visiting Lane for peach ice cream. Alex is getting better at his baby signs and Evan can assemble his 50-state puzzle while telling us the names of each state. He tells us a bit of information about each state, too (e.g.: Minnesota: Mommy went to college here. Maine: they eat lobsters in Maine. etc.).
