Bedtime

I just tip-toed into Alex's room to get a shot of him sleeping in his "big boy bed." The room was pitch black, but thankfully the flash didn't wake him up. Here is our sweet little nut asleep in his "wee-ohh wee-ohh bed." (the sound a fire truck makes).

Then, I crept across the hall to get a shot of Evan. Imagine my surprise to find this:

He had on different PJ's from when we put him to bed, he wasn't sleeping, and he was wearing his backpack for vacation bible school. ("I'm late for school, Mommy! We need to hustle!") And the basket, you ask? It is Moses. Moses (in his basket with a blanket and some grass) hasn't left Evan's side since arts-and-crafts time this morning. In fact, earlier this evening, I heard him in the den saying, "Here we are at the river, Moses!"

We hope he does not try to burn any bushes tomorrow.

That is a riot!

This might be an excellent opportunity to instill your own version of the Jordan Ten Commandments...

1) Thou shalt remain in bed...

2) etc. etc...

:)
