After our failed attempt to fly standby to Denver on Monday, we ended up at the zoo for several hours while Delta tried to find our luggage. It was 95 degrees and we were exhausted after a 4:00 a.m. wake up call, but the kids always love the zoo! Later, we returned to the airport only to learn that our luggage was un-accounted-for. Turns out, although we didn't get to CO, our bags did. We got them back -- totally banged up -- on Tuesday evening. Better late than never!
